Start with cabinet depth, the worktop position, mounting space and the desired light effect. Review the profile and diffuser with a sample. Allow for connectors and feed points instead of treating the cut length as the complete assembly length.

Locate the working area
Review the cabinet depth and the part of the worktop that needs light. Test the mounting position with the backsplash and the normal standing position to assess shadows and reflections.
Allow space beyond the strip
The strip’s cut length is not the full assembly length. Allow for connectors, end caps, cable exits and access to the driver. Coordinate the profile recess with the furniture drawing.
Check colour and protection
View a sample beside the worktop and cabinet finishes. Where moisture or cleaning affects the installation, confirm the protection of the strip, joints and power equipment together.
